Lagarto Remixes Project

Vote for commissioning a set of musical pieces from young musician Lagarto, Berklee College of Music recent graduate and new to the space, based on our Enigma Euler Beats Originals.

These could serve as a base for Euler Beats Beets DAO Originals 2.0. and some experimentation. We'll start selling them as limited editions. From there, we'll aim at composability, iteration and mixing with the work and contributions of new artists, from music and other realms, that we’ll own and control 100% along with them.

WHAT WE’LL GET:

• 4 remixes, one for each of our Euler Beats Enigma Originals (LP’s 02, 04, 17, 20).
• A mashup piece combining all 4 in a 5th one.
• Extended versions of the songs suited for use as ambient music in our Metaverse spaces, buildings, garden, offices, museum, events, etc. These could be hours long and manually edited by the artist. We could mint all of them.
• Full commercial rights and the ability to iterate and compose upon these pieces in collab with this and other artists.
• The stems for the songs to facilitate further building upon, professionally or in an amateur fashion. Might be offered with the NFT pieces we sell.
• Covers by artist friend Pedro Monteverde who works as animator for the Rick and Morty series, from Mexico City. This will be his first NFT piece too, and we could further work with him. https://www.instagram.com/petergreen12/ https://pedromonteverde.wordpress.com
• Indirectly, we’ll be tapping very early with the connections in all scenes the artist has and will develop among migrant and latino communities and beyond.

FUNDING:

We’ll pay 3.5 eth for the work of the two artists, musician and illustrator, a small part of our current treasury. We aim to recover those funds and get a good return on investment through limited editions of the songs that we'll sell as NFT's, along with those wider benefits, resources and connections.
