BeetsDAO.art - Artist Incubator Funding for Volum 1

Purpose

We are seeking approval for 12 eth of capital to fund the initial round of BeetsDAO.art, our artist incubator that aims to empower artists to push the creative boundaries of the NFT space.

Strategy

• educate: inform and inspire artists about the possibilities of the NFT space
• enable: provide artists with the resources they need
• exhibit: amplify the artist’s story

Cost Breakdown: 12 eth total

• 3 eth: celebration pieces (up to 1 eth per artist) that act as a mutual commitment between the DAO and artist and leveraged to announce the artist's participation in the incubator
• 4.5 eth: production/exhibition costs (variable); used for any ad-hoc services such as smart contract development, promo asset development, web development, hosting, etc.
• 4.5 eth: reserve for initial bids (up to 1.5 eth per artist); recouped immediately if auction is won by a higher bidder
• Funds to be provided to multi-sig wallet with JO7 and alecdalel as signers
• Any unused funds to be returned to the main DAO fund

Desired Results

By empowering artists, we will:

1. Increase monetary value of the initial celebration pieces that we purchase from them.
2. Increase the value of the BeetsDAO brand among the community, positioning ourselves not only as a collector DAO but also a builder DAO.
