DoubleHelix: Bgan Punks Continued

This proposal is to continue the limited series comic book Double Helix: A Bastard Gan Punks Story.

Double Helix: A Bastard Gan Punks Story is an action-adventure limited series, told in 7 chapters in totality for a complete and rounded narrative.

Our story revolves around a group of thieves who are after 5 Bgans. The protagonist is new to all of this and will act as our window into this underworld of many moving parts. The group is led by Wise Man, who coordinates our group to recover these Bgans. He is taking back what he deems as his with his newly formed team. But Wise Man’s past catches up to him when he realizes another shadowy team is onto his every move. While pushing the main story forward, each chapter also focuses on one member of our group and unveils certain parts of their backstory along the way that add to the plot.

Bgans have been for the people, by the people since inception. As one of the last projects to exist without corporate influence, they have slowly become one of the most sought-after digital assets in both reality and the metaverse over time. As the story progresses, we will come to know that Bgans are what fuels the narrative. The reader will be able to feel the weight of Bgans within this world. The story will also unveil why Bgans in particular have become the phenomenon they are.

The central goal of this comic book is marketing: As mentioned in a previous proposal, many other successful projects such as Forgotten Runes and Parallel have already begun utilizing accessible storytelling as a way to leverage their name outside of the NFT space. Bgans has the potential for a story that can easily scale the project.

Even the smallest improvements can go a long way: Simply releasing chapters with quality illustrations and a slightly higher page count can amass a greater audience. Detailed splash pages and artwork that will now exist within the Bgans ecosystem will have the chance to be shared, casting a much wider net of onlookers into the ecosystem.

What is being proposed is 1.25 ETH per chapter of the comic book. With six chapters of the series remaining at 1.25 ETH per chapter, this comes out to a total of 7.5 ETH for the story’s entire run. We ask that this total amount be kept aside by the DAO for the time being. The illustrator’s portion will need to be paid beforehand due to Fiverr regulations. Once funds are released for the illustrator, they can then begin working on the illustrations, and the remainder of the compensation will be released to the writer upon the delivery of each chapter of the comic book. Operator will be given 0.6 ETH per chapter to handle payments to the illustrator as well as Fiverr charges.

A vote of yes will be in favor of more chapters of the comic book per the above terms.

A vote of no will be against more chapters of the comic book per the above terms.
