Proposal To Amend The Current DAO Signers Monthly Payment Amount

Voting ended over 2 years agoSucceeded

Whereas the Bastard DAO has limited funds.

Whereas DAO revenue has been greatly reduced with the loss of royalties that once existed.

Whereas the DAO seeks to utilize the remaining funds in the most effective way possible.

Whereas there are currently 9 signers each being paid .1 ETH per month plus an extra .1 ETH being paid to one signer who takes on extra administrative responsibilities.

Whereas the total payment for all DAO signers is currently fixed at 1 ETH per month which is nearly 50 percent of the DAO's fixed monthly expenditures.

The intent of the proposal is to lower the fixed monthly payment for the DAO by decreasing the monthly payment to DAO signers.

Whereas the DAO has current assets consisting of the following:

COMBINED TOTAL OF ETH/WETH: 16.32 ETH

Other assets consist of GFLOOR and various liquidity provisions for sushi swap and NFTX supporting the BGAN NFT ecosystem as well as the BGANS owned by the DAO

Whereas the DAO has a current monthly burn rate of 2.15 ETH consisting of the following:

Twitter posting 1 ETH/month DAO signers 1 ETH/month Sales/Listing Bot .15ETH/month

Total fixed monthly expenditures 2.15 ETH/month

Whereas there are minimal inflows of ETH/WETH into the treasury at this moment

Whereas the remaining ETH/WETH will be GONE IN 7 MONTHS if we continue at this current burn rate

Hereby it is proposed:

To change the monthly payment per signer from .1 ETH to .05 ETH each.

To change the payment of the signer with extra responsibilities from .2 ETH to .1 ETH per month.

This will have the effect of slowing the DAO burn rate and allowing the funds to be used for advancing the project as the community chooses.
