#1 - Purchase Bubblegum Kids & Puppies for Future Promotion


Abstract: Allocate 2 ETH (5% of 40 ETH Community Wallet at time of proposal) to purchasing a combination of Bubblegum Kids & Bubblegum Puppies (1:2 ratio, respectively) for future use for promotional campaigns.


Motivation: Bubblegum Kids & Bubblegum Puppies are relatively affordable at the time of this proposal. Leveraging this price action will allow the DAO to maximize the impact of the proposed investment of 2 ETH and secure a significant quantity of Bubblegum ecosystem NFTs. The 1:2 Kid to Puppy ratio is a way to optimize our investment by purchasing the most NFTs while maintaining balance in the ecosystem. The ratio aims to purchase two Bubblegum Puppies for every one Bubblegum Kid given their respective prices, our goal of optimizing our ETH for “quantity of NFTs”, and balancing diversity between the collections.

This would be a forward thinking action of the DAO as we anticipate an increase in value of the Bubblegum NFTs in the future and will allow a greater and more impactful promotional campaign to be deployed. The ultimate intention here is to reward and potentially incentivize participants engaging with the Bubblegum ecosystem in the future.


Rationale: Bubblegum Kids & Bubblegum Puppies community is very giving, welcoming, and loves to reward & incentivize current holders and potential new ones. As the project grows into a larger brand outside the Twitter social media platform, leveraging Bubblegum ecosystem NFTs will allow the community to explore unique opportunities to deploy promotional campaigns. This action of purchasing NFTs for future promotions continues our trend of being welcoming & giving.

Specifications: We will utilize a variety of platforms to select the Bubblegum Kid & Bubblegum Puppy NFTs, including but not limited to Looksrare, Opensea, and X2Y2 Marketplace. 


Steps to Implement:
 Step 1. Once approved, the High Council and Cryptomoron (the current wallet manager) will review listings across the various NFT marketplaces


Step 2. Collectively, we will identify and select the NFTs to purchase given the parameters of our 1:2 Kid to Puppy ratio.


Step 3. Once the NFTs are selected, we will estimate total cost of the transactions including associated gas fees to ensure we do not exceed the 2 ETH cap of the proposal. 


Step 4. Once NFTs and costs are reviewed, Cryptomoron will move forward with the transactions and confirm when complete.


Timeline: Upon approval of the proposal, we will move forward with the identification & selection of the desired Bubblegum Kids & Bubblegum Puppies for purchase. Within 14 days of approval of the proposal the transactions will be completed.

*2 ETH is the maximum amount to be spent on the acquisition of the Bubblegum Kids & Bubblegum Puppies NFTs, including the cost of gas.
