BPGP#2 : BlackPool Q3 Expenses

BlackPool keeps growing on all fronts: TVL, number of verticals, contributor head count Operational costs … and like any successful project, the DAO has regular expenses to maintain itself. To ensure transparency, at the end of each quarter the DAO publishes the planned expenditure for the following quarter. This proposal outlines in detail the estimated DAO costs for Q3 2022.

Summary: Send funds from the Treasury Multisig to pay for the DAO expenses for July/August/September : Infrastructure, Admin & Tooling, Travel Expenses, Dev/Tech compensation and Contributor rewards.

Rationale: This proposal seeks approval for the DAO expenses for Q3 2022. Below are added the expected expenditure for the third quarter.

Mainnet expenses:

IT & Tech Infrastructure: All IT & Tech infrastructure will be provided as a service by an external partner focused on Administration and maintaining.E.g: AWS, Vercel, Github, and other tools and services needed by the DAO. Thus, this section includes: admin costs, tooling costs and server infrastructure. For all the previous item costs mentioned the budget required is 89,939.00 USDC/Quarter.

Servers infrastructure estimated cost: 13,845 USDC/month Reserve (10%): 1,385.00 USDC/Quarter

Admin costs: 8,627 USDC/month Reserve (10%): 863.00 USDC/Month

Tooling costs: 7,508 USDC/month Reserve (10%): 750.00 USDC/Month

Dev/Tech compensation In the third quarter, the Dao will reward various developers and techs working currently on monitoring and improving BlackPool’s products. A compensation of 13,953.00 USDC/month is planned for these contributors. Total Dev/Tech compensation Q3 budget: 41,860.00 USDC.

Travel expenses: In order to promote the DAO, establish and maintain partnerships, business trips are planned in Q3, the expenses allocated to these travels are 11,700.00/Quarter .

Travel expenses estimated: 3,900.00/month Reserve in case of additional fees (10%): 390.00 USDC/month Total travel expenses Q3 budget: 12,870.00 USDC/Quarter.
