Proposal:

Draft a plan for Darwin, beginning with a simple website that enables Blank holders to upload a jpeg to the Blank collection, evolve their Blank NFTs to any jpeg in the collection, and splits royalties between Blank and holders who uploaded the most popular art.

Jelf could upload his hand-drawn birds, community members could hire an artist to design a finch, a pseudonymous Blankie could contribute a design that grants access to their upcoming concert, and the community will decide which art to evolve their NFTs into.

In the future, we could expand the functionality of the website to enable uploading more complex pieces of art -- e.g. multiple images with logic to randomly combine them to create a single NFT that evolves over time. However, we prefer to start simple.

The plan will include a more detailed summary of the idea, a high-level tech spec, and execution recommendations including: timeline, team, compensation, go-to-market, and next steps. We aim to submit the final plan by March 24, 2022.

After completing the plan, it will be up to the community to vote on whether or not to move forward with it. There is no guarantee that the plan will be executed on and no contributors to this proposal are committing to execution at this time.
