Bobu's Kidz Books is a children's book series featuring Bobu as the narrator, created by a team of skilled professionals from the Garden community. The goal of the series is to spread Bobu and Beanz IP to a wider audience with encouraging, positive messages for children. The team plans to produce a visually stunning and high-quality product line of books that supports the growth and development of artists in the community, and children everywhere. By voting yes on the proposal, the Bobu Treasury will commission artists to write and illustrate 3 stories (to be published bound together as a hardcover physical collectible edition and separately as individual story digital copies) that Garden members can enjoy and share with their families. The AmazonKDP distribution, production, and marketing offers an incredible opportunity to expose diverse audiences to Bobu and Beanz. The funding request is for $15k, which will be used for artist payments, and operational expenses, like marketing, editing, cover art, legal/financial consultation, etc. The project has the potential to make a significant impact on the community's future, with 50% of profits initially returning to the Bobu Treasury until reimbursement and 10% profits in perpetuity.
We are thrilled to introduce "Bobu's Kidz Books," a children's book series featuring our lovable Bobu as the narrator. Our author, artists, beanz IP contributors, and advisors all come from the Garden, and are excited to collaborate on this masterpiece. All proceeds will support Garden creators, and contribute to the Bobu treasury. By voting yes on this proposal, you'll be a part of our mission to create a better world, one story at a time. Join us on another exciting journey for Bobu, and help us bring his bean-adventures to life while supporting our community of artists.
NiQ_108, the visionary behind "Bobu's Kidz Books," is a skilled teacher with a bachelor's degree in English literature, a master's degree in education, and a decade of experience in teaching. He was motivated by his young nieces and nephew to develop a series of children's books that introduces Bobu and beanz IP to children worldwide, while also promoting valuable social lessons. To create the illustrations for the series, three talented artists, matchadango, minsism, and ernestyu, were handpicked from the Azuki Community, demonstrating the Garden's culture of empowering artists in the community to create “dope sh*t only.” The team's goal is to produce a visually stunning and high-quality product that supports the growth and development of the artists in the community and young readers everywhere.
We aim to create a tangible work of art that includes both visual and narrative elements, showcasing positive messages. These physical and digital books will serve as a medium for the members of Garden to share their love for Bobu and Beanz with their loved ones, and to expand the reach of the Bobu and Beanz IP beyond the Azuki/web3 community. Our marketing approach will be organic: sample products sent to interested Garden members, book review bloggers, teachers, and students to gather positive reviews that will help boost the product's visibility on Amazon. This approach will not only increase sales but also expose diverse audiences to Bobu and Beanz before the holiday gift season. Prior to launch, the Bobu community may have access to sneak peeks, coloring book pages, discord stickers, contests, etc. This project has the potential to sustainably generate revenue for the Bobu Treasury with 50% of profits initially returning to the Bobu Treasury until reimbursement, and 10% profits in perpetuity.
The request is for $15,000 from the Bobu Treasury: $10k for artists, $5k to cover various operational expenses, including legal and financial representation, guidance, and documentation, R&D, marketing, editing, and cover art. The funding will be released to the LLC as the artists reach milestone benchmarks listed below, ensuring accountability and transparency.
