BobuSake

Executive Summary:

Bobu the Bean farmer is known for enjoying good sake... but has he ever offered you any? We think it’s time that Bobu steps up and shares his sake with everyone in web3 and maybe even web2.

This project aims to:

• Create, develop and execute on a bottle of sake that Bobu can consider his daily drinker.
• Develop the current branding guidelines of BobuSake, adding more versatility and depth to Bobu.
• Birth ‘BobuSake’ as a stand-alone sake brand with groundwork to one day compete in a web2 market.
• Increase the exposure of web2 individuals to our favourite drunk farmer by storytelling with high quality graphics and animations.
• Creation of new collectable assets for the BobuSake community both physically and potentially digitally.
• Provide a product range that expands past Bobu’s humble bottle of sake by collaborating with the upper echelon on premium Japanese beverages and goods in the market.

To respect the tradition, and honour the culture of Japanese sake, we have partnered with local breweries and craftsmen for an authentic experience.

This proposal would include:

• The creation of the BobuSake brand and Bobu’s Original traditionally crafted sake.
• New visual content, animations and gifs by Phuncal of Bobu enjoying his sake.
• A PBT-enabled collectors’ edition of Bobu’s Original sake.
• Setting up a global supply chain and the foundations for Bobu’s sake to reach a web2 audience.

The proposal team is asking for approval to use $90K from the treasury. The funding will be used to: set up partnerships and a global supply chain to create and distribute BobuSake to Bobu fans around the world; create new unique art assets to be enjoyed by the community; and establish the first PBT offering in the Bobu ecosystem.

By voting yes for this proposal, the community will be showing their support for the birth of BobuSake, the everyday drinker of Bobu the Bean Farmer.
