Bobu’s Pawn Shop

Executive Summary

A proposal from @huntclubhero and @ExpectedValue, in collaboration with the Bobu Committee. Bobu’s Pawn Shop is a proposed incentive structure to reward Bobu Governance participation.

A brief summary of how Bobu’s Pawn Shop would work:

Earn:

Token holders earn “Sake” by voting on proposals, submitting proposals, supporting proposals, and more. “Sake” is not an on-chain token. It’s merely a point system that tracks governance participation.

Spend:

“Sake” is spent as raffle tickets at Bobu’s Pawn Shop for high quality, high value, Bobu collectibles sourced by the proposal team. Think highly sought after, low quantity Bobu collectibles.

Why?

Today, Bobu holders aren’t rewarded for participating. An incentive structure could encourage more votes, more proposals, MORE BOBU!

The proposal team is asking for $29,500 to bring this program to life. A brief breakdown of costs:

• $9,500 dev cost to build the Sake earn/spend infrastructure
• $20,000 for collectible sourcing to be distributed across multiple raffles.
