Bobu: Spill the Beanz

TLDR

Bobu loves to tell tall stories, so why don’t we give him a bigger platform to do so?

WHAT IS IT

Bobu ‘mangazine’ (meaning a collectable magazine with a manga inspired design) in TWO versions. Content will include exclusive stories and insights from the web3 + anime worlds immortalising this important moment we’re living through.

​​The content will cover anime and web3, with BOBU will be adding his comments (coherence depends on how much sake he drinks). The design and art work revolve around our favourite farmer.

We’ll print: 10k standard size version + 1k high spec collectors edition (w/ detachable art work). Distribution to holders FCFS.

Plus: launch party + digital art auction = you’re having fun

WHY DO I CARE?

IP expansion via magazine distribution with strategic partners (ie: AnimeCON etc) in physical, and driving of viral teaser content in digital. Harnessing our longstanding ABC1 audience.

SHOW ME THE MONEY

Ads and sales revenue go back to treasury: Ads pages goal: £20k Event 100 ticket (non holders): £25 pp Collector’s edition sales (holders get first dibs for free): £18.99

The proposal team is asking for approval to use USD 51.2K from the treasury. The funding will be used to: create and distribute the “mangazine”, create a high impact event, reach strategic partners for IP expansion and for community artists and writers commissions.

By voting yes for this proposal, the community will be showing their support not only for the creation of a collectable Bobu magazine and sub consequence IP expansion but also to support the talented community artists and authors.
