Create Digital Bobu Cards

What is the proposal?

I (@0xNader) would like to use Bobu’s IP to create NFT cards. The goal of this proposal is to explore creating a digital collectible that extends NFT IP. If passed, Bobu token holders would be able to mint 2 free cards during a 24 hour event called Bobu’s Card Shop. Lastly, there will be no discord or roadmap, this project is simply a fun experiment.

How will it benefit Bobu’s IP and token holders?

I believe these cards will create exposure for Bobu’s IP and a fun online event for holders to enjoy for free. This proposal would allow us to show that the Azuki community is ahead of the curve and willing to experiment with what is possible when you combine decentralized IP and digital collectibles.

How much investment is needed from the treasury?

0 ETH

How will it return funds to the treasury?

I would like to set a 5% percent royalty on all secondary sales and give 20% of the funds generated from the secondary sales back to the Bobu treasury and 80% to the card creators. Lastly, I would mint the card with tokenId #1 to the DAO for them to keep.

Who is part of the team? Why will they succeed?

@0xnader on Twitter and my friend [redacted]. I have worked in the crypto industry since 2018 for major companies such as Coinbase, Zora, and Zapper. Working at crypto startups has given me the domain knowledge and experience to know what it takes to launch a successful project. My friend also works in the crypto industry, but prefers to remain anonymous for this project.

What are the milestones and deliverables?

A list of verified Bobu holder minting addresses would be obtained by using Premint. To sign up you would need to verify in the Azuki discord and have the “Bobu Holder'' role. Signing up on Premint would grant you the ability to mint 2 free Bobu cards. Note, these cards would not be sold to the public and the window to register for the Premint would be 3 days.

Once the Premint registration has closed, a digital pop up shop called Bobu’s Card Shop would open for 24 hours and allow registered addresses to mint the Bobu cards.
