Executive Summary:

This proposal outlines the launch of the "Bobu Nitro Cold Brew'' product line by Red Bean Coffee (RBC). The aim is to leverage Bobu's decentralized IP and brand to create a global coffee consumable that resonates with consumers worldwide. RBC plans to produce a line of Bobu-inspired Nitro Cold Brew products, with flavor names and packaging design chosen by Bobu token holders. The proposal seeks a grant of $30,000 from the Bobu treasury to support production and marketing initiatives. A portion of the net sales from Nitro Cold Brew will be directed back to the Bobu treasury, further benefiting Bobu's IP and token holders.

We are thrilled to introduce "Bobu Nitro Cold Brew," a series of canned coffee beverages featuring Bobu on the packaging and cans. Our team comes from the Garden, and is excited to collaborate with you on this delicious opportunity to reach coffee consumers worldwide. A portion of proceeds will go back to the Bobu Treasury, further benefiting the long-term vision of magnifying Bobu’s IP. By voting yes on this proposal, you’ll be a part of our mission to put Nitro Bobu Brew in stores and homes across the globe.

Team:

The project team consists of highly experienced professionals with a variety of skills and expertise to ensure this project’s success. The team grew together in The Garden and connected personally through a love for coffee.

  • Robert McMenemy - With 11 years of experience in software development, Robert specializes in full-stack development, web3 development, solidity, business development, marketing, and more. He has achieved notable accomplishments, including designing and implementing a carbon credit marketplace on the Concordium ID layer chain.

  • Steven Isaac - Steven has 10 years of experience in software development, specifically in web3 development, solidity, JavaScript, React, Python, IPFS, and more. He is the CEO of BlockGeni3 and brings expertise in AI/ML and developing cutting-edge solutions for clients.

  • Yoshitaka Ellison - Yoshitaka is the founder of Red Bean Coffee and has 16 years of experience in business startups and entrepreneurship, with a focus on financial management, marketing, sales, customer service, and project management. He has successfully launched JD Communications and generated over $5 million in revenue. Yoshitaka also launched the memorabilia and collectibles company, VA Beach Cardz, generating over $250k in vendor sales in a year of hosting card trade shows.

  • Han Lien - With 10 years of experience in business startups, marketing, and branding, Han specializes in branding, marketing strategy, content marketing, eCommerce, and more. He has led marketing strategies for multiple Fortune 500 companies, driving significant sales growth.

  • George Curtis - With 7 years of professional experience, George has worked as a Nuclear Submarine Officer and Project Manager specializing in complex mission planning, operations, financial management, and project startup.

Benefits:

The Bobu Nitro Cold Brew project will bring several benefits to Bobu's IP and token holders:

  • Amplification of Bobu's IP and brand: The launch of Nitro Bobu Cold Brew will introduce Bobu to the global coffee community, expanding his reach and brand recognition.

  • Financial support for the Bobu treasury: A portion of the net sales from Bobu Nitro Cold Brew will be directed back to the Bobu treasury, providing a sustainable source of income to support future initiatives and developments.

Investment and Costs:

Red Bean Coffee is seeking a $30,000 grant from the Bobu treasury. The investment breakdown is as follows:

  • Bobu Nitro Cold Brew Production & Product Launch Prep: $25,000
    • $20,000 for the production of 10,000 units, including research and development for three coffee blends, packaging, trays, and pallets.
    • $5,000 for product launch necessities, eCommerce storefront UI/UX design, ERC5643 technical integration, product design, and alternative marketing.
  • Marketing Campaign: $5,000
    • $4,100 for advertising budget on platforms like Amazon and Twitter, as well as boosting quality community content.
    • $900 for the purchase of 10 Bobu tokens for early web3 marketing initiatives.

Deliverables:

  • 10,000 12 oz Bobu Nitro Cold Brews available in 3 flavors.
  • Web2 & Web3 marketing initiatives.

Milestones:

  • Milestone #1: Nitro Cold Brew Production & Product Launch Prep ($25,000) Immediate allocation of $20,000 for production and $5,000 for launch necessities, eCommerce UI/UX design, ERC5643 integration, product design, and alternative marketing.
  • Milestone #2: Marketing Campaign ($5,000) Disbursement of $5,000 after successful execution of Milestone #1 for supporting marketing efforts, including advertising budget and purchasing Bobu tokens for web3 marketing initiatives.

  • 2 weeks (pre production)
  • 6 weeks (production)
  • 7 weeks (website go-live and sales ready)
  • 8-12 weeks subscription function ready
  • 8-12 weeks Amazon marketplace - non FBA launch

Returns:

Red Bean Coffee will forward 10% of all Nitro Cold Brew net sales (initial 10,000 cans) back to the Bobu treasury. Furthermore, Red Bean Coffee commits to allocating 5% of all Bobu themed Nitro Cold Brew net sales to the Bobu treasury indefinitely, establishing a long-term revenue stream.
