[BIP-26] Proposal for Adjustments to Farm Rewards - August

As the ninth 28-day session of the (3,3) pool will end on July. 30th, it’s time for us to discuss the rewards for the next Epoch and to make some adjustments to existing farms.

In general, we are proposing to further reduce $BORING emissions so that there will be less amount of $BORING in circulation. $BORING holders should understand the potential effect of this on the future value of $BORING tokens, considering demand versus supply. Slightly reducing the farm rewards might lower farms’ APRs a little bit. In the long term, it will benefit $BORING holders if we hold back supply to stimulate demand.

Boring Farm Current Emission - 10,000 $BORING/Day New Emission - 8,000 $BORING/Day

oPortal oUSDT Current Emission - 3,000 $BORING/Day New Emission - 2,500 $BORING/Day

oPortal oUSDC Current Emission - 3,000 $BORING/Day New Emission - 2,500 $BORING/Day

oPortal oETH Current Emission - 1,500 $BORING/Day New Emission - 1,000 $BORING/Day

(3,3) Pool Epoch 9 - 5,000 $BORING/Day (3,3) Pool Epoch 10 - 3,500 $BORING/Day

Curve oBTC Current Emission - 1,250 $BORING/Day New Emission - 1,000 $BORING/Day

According to past practices, the Epoch 10 of the (3,3) pool will automatically begin at 13:50 UTC on July. 30th, 2022. If this proposal gets passed, new farm rewards will be applied to Epoch 10.
