Summary

In the Attention Economy Period, we are piloting a karma/reputation points system as a way of scoring valuable activity in Botto’s system to help Botto assess feedback it receives. This system allows for differentiating contributors, their contributions, and their rewards.

This proposes rewarding 10% of revenue to karma points, based on the amount of reputation scored relative to everyone else in that Period. The rewards will incentivize the new diverse forms of inputs Botto can receive, and enable smaller holders to earn their way into a greater say. We will review this in the next 1-2 Periods and adjust with feedback.

If this is passed and PoL is paused in Part C, the resulting revenue distributions would be:

Treasury: 50% Active rewards (VP-based): 40% Rep rewards (Karma-based): 10%

Specifications:

• Reward Karma points with 10% of revenue (ETH or $BOTTO depending on BIP-83 (E))
• Payout is at the end of the Period, and based on the amount of karma points scored relative to everyone else in that Period.
