Should we end the token distribution today?

Hello everyone,

We have been monitoring the token distribution and verifying the integrity of each address submission via a few different methods. Over the past 24 hours there have been several submissions from people (or bots) creating multiple accounts to attempt to game the system and receive a higher allocation. Fortunately, we believe we have caught all of the individuals acting in bad faith and have removed them from the distribution.

We expect that this will happen again and the techniques used to game the system will get progressively more sophisticated.

This proposal asks the community if they're willing to end the distribution early. Everyone that submitted their address before this passes (and has not yet received their allocation) will still receive the Brink tokens provided they were acting in good faith.

Benefit: Insure the integrity of the distribution

Drawback: People that hear about Brink in the future and want to receive tokens to participate in governance would be excluded for now
