BIP-028: Application for small fund in DAO’s expense wallet

Summary

This proposal aims to pre-transfer a small fund into DAO’s expense wallet to simplify workflow, enhance efficiency and save gas fee.

Background

Buidler DAO have created an non-multi sig wallet for fund management purpose, current the wallet is under custody by Financial Team. Since recently it is expected that there will be multiple requests on small expenses (less than 200 USDT), for example the Buidler Mixup in Shenzhen, the financial team hope to pre-transfer 950 USDT to the expense wallet to simplify workflow. In this way, the small expenses can be transferred directly from the expense wallet to the target, no need to perform multi-sigature process.

Financial Team will transfer 950USDT from DAO’s Treasury to expense wallet at 0x95fd513274251a3dc1d6d60b135f5be3975f233a. After that, the small transactions will be performed by Financial Team Leader Davion, and reimbursement of the expense wallet and large transaction will still undergo the multi-signature process.

Voting Instructions

This round of voting is for S2 Governors, following the internal consensus as stipulated in the white paper. The voting period is at least one day. The approval criteria are:

1. 60% (8 people) of the total internal members participate in the vote.
2. Voting approval rate > 60%.

Note: There are 14 S2 Governors, but only 12 are eligible to vote as they do not yet hold any $BRP.
