Proposal for Additional Burger Token Issuance

In just one year, we’ve witnessed a dramatic change in the DeFi ecosystem and an exponential rise in the number of new projects. As the cryptocurrency market is experiencing a severe downturn, it has become increasingly challenging to keep up and even pioneer innovations.

From the first AMM on the BNB chain to a DEXs-CEXs Aggregator, From BurgerSwap to BurgerCities, We never stop exploring the crypto world and the future of Defi.

Evolving from BurgerSwap, the BurgerCities integrates DeFi and NFT into a larger metaverse scene to produce a uniform and standardized Web3 behavioral metaverse universe.

The move to MetaFi received an enthusiastic reaction from our community and saw a drastic growth of Daily Active Users in just a few days. But with the development of the BurgerCities and the operation of the community, We realized that rebranding the project only but did not update the token economic model that underpins it will not benefit BURGER holders.

New Stage needs New Tokenomics

The BURGER Team did well in exploring the DeFi ecosystem, but it did not have enough token amounts set aside for funding future activities, nor did it provide sufficient incentives to retain current and future contributors.

We knew it was time to make a major change, and issuing additional tokens was certainly a key solution that could be used to incentivize more users and funding to join.

We believe that overall this additional issuance will benefit BURGER, help retain existing contributors and incentivize new ones to join while raising the "treasury funds" to better able to support the growth of BURGER's business.
