Buzzed Summary To appoint Dayolatunji (Dayo) as a community manager for the Buzzed Bear Hideout DAO and leave this position open in the event that another candidate(s) is required to help support the hideout functions to enable BBH success.

Abstract ‌ Buzzed Bears are doing a lot of things and it’s clear it is hard for mods to keep across everything. Also it’s too much work or expectation for mods who are also helping in many other areas.

Hacktivist.eth and I interviewed several candidates for the position of Community Manager. As part of this process, we have identified multiple people that can step into roles within the BBH. We believe that Dayo will be the perfect person to fill a role of Discord Community Manager. Dayo has prior experience in a Community Manager role. He showed good people skills, and written skills, coming from a copywriter background. He demonstrated good integrity when dealing with a compromising position and handled himself very well in the interview, also demonstrating his ability to think on his feet and handle multiple tasks and questions at once.

Diana was our community manager and we went to snapshot (bip-023) and agreed to appoint a community manager to take the pressure off mods and others so we don’t burn out our good bears. We also need a community manager to drive things and lead the mod and bear liaison team. It’s a substantial job keeping track of everything. It is probably more than a 1 person job, but we are going to start with a community leader, and keep the position open in the event we need to appoint further community managers, for example, either a half position, or someone to help lead more on the operational side while Dayo leads the discord and the people leadership side. This could be an option if required, in either event we need to break it into two areas to help support bear needs as we grow.

Compensation for this position has been negotiated at $1200 USD per month based on Dayo’s skills and experience to be paid from the honeypot on a monthly basis. Please vote if you want this to go to BIP.

Tasks will include include

1. Lead bears within discord
2. Support mods and founders and project teams to achieve goals
3. Social engager and communicator within discord
4. Communicator through other BBH outlets
5. Lead for giveaways
6. Sharing information across all teams
7. Check ins with honeypot manager and help communication with bears
8. Organizing discord and community events
9. And such other tasks as may be needed as community manager

Specification ‌ Overview ‌

1. Interviews have been conducted
2. To commence asap and pro rata payment for the first month at the end of April (or May depending on voting timeframe).
3. Another community manager or two may be appointed at a later date depending on required need to support bears so this position will remain open This does not affect BIP-023. This proposal is to add a position for Discord Community Manager.
