CDP4: Raw Pass Holders points

Problem Statement:

Balthazar DAO wants to ensure that the BZR reward system https://leaderboard.walletwars.io/ is transparent and equitable for past, present and future raW pass holders.

Abstract**:**

BZR Points are key rewards in the Balthazar DAO ecosystem that play a crucial role in leaderboard rankings, and are essential for success in the Wallet Wars game.

Points will be a key factor in determining the distribution of token allocations in upcoming pre-sales, airdrops and the launch of the $BZR token more broadly. It's important to note that the total amount of BZR points in circulation directly influences the size of airdrops to each raW pass holder. Consequently, the less points that are issued, the larger the individual share of the airdrop becomes for each holder. This dynamic serves as a critical consideration for raW pass holders, particularly when contemplating the transfer or sale of their passes, and should be factored into the decision-making process regarding the options presented in CDP4.

Currently, BZR points can be accumulated through soft staking a raW pass. By owning a raW Pass, holders are eligible to earn 100 BZR points per day for each of their raW passes. If a pass is listed for sale, it does not earn points for any day that it has been listed.

This CDP outlines a proposal for Balthazar raW pass holders to determine the outcome for holders that earned soft staking points but have later sold their raW passes.

CDP4 presents three options for how points from raW passes that have been sold should be treated to optimise fairness and transparency of BZR points distributions for all holders. The options are:

1. Do nothing
2. Sold passes forfeit all BZR points
3. Sold passes transfer all BZR points to new owner

Motivation:

The purpose of this proposal is to allow for raW Pass holders to decide on an equitable position of the BZR points in a transparent manner.

Specification:

Balthazar DAO proposes the following options for raW pass holders to decide what we do with raW pass holder points that sold their raW pass.

Option 1: Do Nothing

The existing system remains as is. Holders miss out on BZR points for any day that they have listed their pass, but retain all accumulated points, even if they have later sold these passes.

Option 2: Forfeit Points

Wallet owners lose all raW pass points accrued from passes that they have sold. The new owner of these passes start accruing points from the date of purchase.

Option 3: Transfer Points

Wallet owners lose all raW pass points accrued from passes they have sold, and these points are transferred to the raW pass buyer’s wallet address. The raW pass then continues earning points as usual, and individual raw passes will be searchable on the leaderboard for transparency on the number of points they have accumulated.
