Should Cabin increase our token gating threshold from 1₡ to 10₡?

This proposal seeks to increase the amount of Cabin required to be a member of the community from 1₡ to 10₡. This change will be implemented in our Discord server using the Collab.Land bot to verify community members’ ₡ holdings.

With Cabin’s growth as an organization and community, this token gating adjustment will set the Cabin community up for success in both the short and long term by providing the following:

• Increase the utilization of the ₡ABIN token (not in the way it is fundamentally utilized, but in that people will need to buy/earn and hold more ₡)
• Prepare for more members to interface IRL with our new neighborhoods
• Increase buy side pressure on the ₡ABIN token
• Create a higher bounty amount for those new members looking to earn their way into the community. This will also help us continue to encourage bounty amounts of at least 10₡ to minimize gas fees.
