Budget

For Fall 22, we are requesting a budget of $304,000 and 6850 ₡.

This budget will fund core operations for the DAO including neighborhood development, content marketing, and community engagement. The goal of this fellowship is to develop a single small pod for highly efficient and effective service provider work within Cabin.

We are also requesting default-on funding for the fellowship at the same level for 1 year. This would mean that, while the DAO could revoke the funding before the start of each season, the fellowship would be funded by default. This will allow us to create more stability and certainty for fellowship members, which is one of our biggest bottlenecks to bringing on top-tier contributors.

We believe that fellowship requests (especially with default-on funding) should be granted sparingly by the DAO, but that this fellowship has earned the request, since it's made up of core contributors who have long-standing, trusted relationships of contribution within the organization.
