Distributing 500 CABIN for Month 1 of the Ideation Pod

Background In this proposal, the DAO set aside 500 CABIN for each month of the 3-month trial of the Ideation Pod to be distributed by multi-choice voting among Pod stewards and participants or returned to the treasury.

Each voter can assign a % of their votes to:

Specific team member The stewards as a group Treasury (meaning that a % of tokens would be returned to the DAO Treasury)

Supporting Materials Throughout the first month, we’ve been posting updates and a big picture of the Pod on this handy Notion page created by Katya.

At the end of the first month, we published a recap of each ideation’s goals, progress, learnings, and next steps in this forum post. We also published a Financial Report on how we distributed the 500 USDC set aside by the DAO for the first month of the Pod.

Month 1 Team Participants Dahveed: Planned ETH Denver/Boulder Cabin event with Savannah. Also searched for keywords/key accounts, tried recruiting squad members, and strategized approaches with JonBo for Social Scraping.

Jonbo: Set up and troubleshooted Twitter API, formed keywords into topic groupings, set up Discord channel, and did much other technical and strategic work for Social Scraping.

Katya: As the entirety of the Cabin Productions team, created its concept and the concept of its 1-month trial at MTNHAUS, acquired and prepared video capturing and editing equipment, flew out to the location on short notice, helping with Cabin programming there along with brainstorming and recording short-form video content.

Savannah: Planned ETH Denver/Boulder Cabin event with Dahveed and her neighbors, and created the Partiful event.

Stewards Dahveed, Katya, and Savannah also serve as the Stewards of the Ideation Pod, discussing the three active ideations, ideations slated to join in Month 2, and internal workings of the Ideation Pod. A big part of the work in the Pod’s first month was to create and come to a consensus on internal systems of how the Pod would work and how each Steward would get their needs and preferences met.

Voting and Reward Distribution 500 CABIN is set aside in the Ideation Pod multisig for Month 1 distribution. After this vote concludes, the Stewards will distribute this sum proportionally to the voting results.
