CIP #7 - Redirecting PCS CAKE Emissions to Support Ecosystem Growth

Abstract

This proposal seeks approval from vlCKP holders for Cakepie to support PancakeSwap's initiative to redirect a portion of CAKE emissions from existing farm allocations to a new Ecosystem Growth allocation. This reallocation will serve as a warchest to support new products, chain expansion, and other growth initiatives, replacing the Multichain Warchest category. PancakeSwap plans to reduce emissions to Farms by 3,000 CAKE per day and redirect them to Ecosystem Growth, without increasing total emissions.

Motivation

The redirection of emissions aims to support the growth of PancakeSwap's ecosystem by funding innovative products like PancakeSwap v4 and new chain expansions. By supporting this proposal, Cakepie will align its governance with PancakeSwap’s vision for ecosystem sustainability and long-term growth. This approach is consistent with Cakepie's mission to maximize value for vlCKP holders and ensure effective participation in the broader PancakeSwap ecosystem. The reallocation does not increase overall CAKE emissions but rather optimizes their use to drive innovation and development, directly benefiting vlCKP holders.
