Over the past few months, the Kitchen has launched various Position Manager vaults across our various deployments on BNB Chain, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base and zkSync Era.
These Position Managers have performed well, driving ~$250M in trading volume, and increasing TVL by ~$6M.
Importantly, these position managers have also enabled users to provide concentrated liquidity in a simplified manner.
With these benefits, the kitchen feels that the value proposition of the Position Manager is strong, and will continue to expand on new vaults and new chains for this Product.
CAKE incentives for previous Position Manager vaults have been implemented individually through PancakeSwap’s governance process.
In order to streamline the onboarding process for Position Managers on PancakeSwap, the Kitchen is requesting the allocation of 20,000 CAKE.
The tokens will be allocated among various Position Manager vaults over the next few weeks.
This distribution will be carried out in a way that will maximize the TVL, Volume, and ultimately the CAKE Burn generated from incentivized vaults.
The Kitchen will share regular updates on the performance of these Position Manager’s vaults on our brand spanking new ** forum**.
The CAKE tokens will not come from increased emissions, but rather will be taken from our ‘Multichain Warchest’ allocation. The yield from Position Manager vaults will encourage more users to deposit assets, increasing LP liquidity, and ultimately leading to greater CAKE burn from increased volume and fees.

Since the launch of Position Manager on PancakeSwap on 30 October 2023, various Position Manager’s vaults have locked up approximately $6M in TVL, generating about $250M in trading volume on BNB Chain, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base and zkSync Era. This trading volume will lead to significant CAKE burn, benefiting CAKE holders.
