Proposal to recognize Mancake as an affiliate DEX

Please refer to the following governance discussion on the affiliate DEX proposal first raised by the Kitchen in late February and the Mancake team’s post on our governance forum for details of the deployment.

Based on the above proposal from the Mancake team, the Kitchen proposes to recognize Mancake as an affiliate DEX on Mantle Network.

Rationale for recognition

This will allow PancakeSwap to grow on the Mantle blockchain network via a 3rd party affiliate team with strong execution capabilities to grow PancakeSwap’s influence and volume in a multichain world.

Summary terms

The Mancake team will require the following from the Kitchen and PancakeSwap

• Co-marketing support;
• Tech support as required, such as the full set of PCS-developed products without reliance on external partners (i.e. swap, liquidity, farm, upcoming PCSv4, staking, trading reward, Syrup pools, lottery, NFT, info, IFO) with tech support to help get Mancake up and running;
• At a future time, if Mancake also acts as a filler when PCSX is established, PancakeSwap will integrate such DEX into PCSX and preferentially execute trades via Mancake if the execution of the relevant token price is <1% worse than the best option available on Mantle

In return for the above support, the Mancake team will provide the following to PCS and veCAKE stakers

• Mancake allocates 3% of its supply to PCS (PCS will distribute one-third (1%) to veCAKE stakers)
• Mancake allocates an additional 3% of its supply to veCAKE stakers
• Mancake will pay PCS 60% of all deployed product revenues (e.g. ongoing LP fee revenues) monthly to the PancakeSwap protocol

Implementation

The implementation timeline post governance approval is laid out in Mancake team’s post on our governance forum. TGE is expected in Q2 2024.

We also recognize the value of community feedback, and the Mancake team will continue to engage with the PancakeSwap community, as they have done regarding requests for details on team members, tokenomics, and further aspects of the affiliate deployment.
