With this information I seek to reflect and share my point of view on some measures that I believe could be beneficial for Carbonswap and its community. Carbonswap needs to gain traction and that is done with development, participation, differentiation and above all hard work, if we want Carbonswap to be successful we must understand the environment and create value, in a DEX this is done through VOLUME and TVL, both metrics keys that are currently low on Carbonswap. The first Energy Web DEX has great potential and responsibility, I consider that it is necessary to take into consideration some aspects and improve certain aspects of the project, so with this writing I hope to share my point of view and feedback regarding some areas that I think they could improve the development of Carbonswap.
Investment & Developing: Investing is crucial in the stage that this Carbonswap right now, we have seen how Carbonswap has been developing but also how it has remained inherent over time, we recently had the launch of Greensea.io with a tremendous idea and incredible potential that in my opinion did not meet expectations, the work is nevertheless there and it must be recognized, respected and valued, but without hesitation to improve it, we must then push new updates to a point where our product can be comparable with Opeansea.io, just as Carbonswap natively emulates Uniswap but with its own distinctions. This also applies to the development of the Lending platform, Governance V2 and other future Carbonswap applications, in this sense there should be a stronger incentive for developers to reinforce the growth of the platform through tasks that must be fulfilled to achieve the goals stipulated by the roadmap, hopefully in time and good quality. At this point, if the community agrees, we could designate some % of the total supply for development and growth or allocate a small % of the fees generated by the DEX to a fund destined to incentivize developing & growth, this would also be an incentive for there to be more volume as this would mean higher collection of funds to destinate to this cause.
Communication: Communication is a key point in any project & relationship, solid communication is undoubtedly a relevant aspect in a business and a community, its lack being a factor that can probably present negative consequences, I don’t know (and it does not concern me) if the communication between the developers is of quality, but I know that currently there is a general feeling that the communication between the developers and the community could be better, an improvement in this aspect would undoubtedly be very well received and appreciated, once again I believe that active people in the community could be encouraged to be spokespersons, moderators & communicators that are more involved in what is happening in Carbonswap, there is a few people that I think the team should consider to increase community management quality, also there should be a section in telegram or discord for people who can and want to contribute with their set of skills to the development of Carbonswap product, design, marketing, communication or whatever is relevant at the moment, involvement, connection and communication are generally underestimated.
Community: As Carbonswap community we also have face the mirror, we must be without a place more active and serious about the positive growth of the project, this is the first time that I come across an Exchange with such poor governance proposals, if you are going to post for governance please make sure to first be convinced that your proposition is of value and second, to explain your idea more seriously and in depth, valerate your time as well as the community members. In this sense, I hope we can also make some changes to Governance V.2 to improve the Carbonswap governance system and have a filter for proposals that often cause a decrease in seriousness and sometime created with trolling or negative purposes. I also make an invitation for some members of the community to focus any existing frustration in participating and making your skills available, you can always contribute, from getting involved in design tasks to development, to participating in the community to promoting and sharing, you are in the right place, and this is just getting started.
Roadmap: This point is already known by the developers & the community, but I think its still necessary to mention that the roadmap must be updated and modified, this time to create a more realistic, efficient & effective guideline that sets important goals and dates to be met.
