Some proposals are complex and will have unintended consequences. The current description of proposals include only the unvetted opinion of the proposer.
To better inform the voters, this section, where proposals are described, should have a forum, divided into Pros and Cons, where voters can post statements or questions about the proposal which can be voted up or down. I envision a section similar to the comment section on YouTube.
Proposals could be modified after input from the community and a final draft could then be submitted for a vote.
This proposed forum would be divided into a before or after vote sections and serve as a reference for future modifications by showing the logic before a vote and the problems or issues that occurred upon implementation of the proposal.
After a proposal passes, a popularity vote that indicates the success or shortcomings of the new policy could be included in the post implementation discussion that could be used for building the credibility of those who proposed, commented or voted.
This dynamic is already implemented in DEN.SOCIAL and that forum would be ideal for this purpose.
