Proposal Goals: Improve and simplify Community Ranking Mechanism. Increase $COW.buying pressure. Differentiate common and uncommon members. Limit the access to rare and legendary memberships.
Background: Due to the actual amount of holders, with the original community ranking mechanism, the amount of $COW required to belong to each Community Rank is the following: Common -> 1 $COW Uncommon -> 1 $COW Rare -> 9 $COW Legendary -> 518 $COW
Issues with actual mechanism: The same amount of $COW is required for both Common and Uncommon Ranks. Anyone will be able to access rare and uncommon packs with a small $COW amount, which makes them less scarce and exclusive.. The amount of $COW required to be ranked is always changing depending on the market conditions.
NOTE 1: There were three polls conducted on the proposal: 1) a poll in the VIP group of legendary members which was positive; 2) a poll in the governance channel which was positive; and 3) a preliminary vote for the new parameters.
NOTE 2: This change means users will probably need more $COW to maintain their actual Community Rank.
NOTE 3: The proposal does not affect community members who hold Genesis NFTs and HappyCows NFTs.
The Proposal: The proposal consists in setting a fixed $COW amount required to be ranked following the following rules:
Common: Hold at least 1 $COW and be in the top 50K holders. Uncommon: Hold at least 10 $COW and be in the top 10K holders. Rare: Hold a HappyCows NFT or Hold at least 100 $COW and be in the top 1K of holders. Legendary: Hold a CashCow Genesis NFT or Hold at least 1000 $COW and be in the top 100 holders. If the proposal is rejected, everything remains as it is.
Voting: Option A: Do not change the whitelisting mechanism to that described in the proposal. Option B: Change the whitelisting mechanism described in the proposal.
