Purpose: Our Project’s Community Treasury has always strived to maintain a balance where 50% of our Treasury would be held in ETH and the remaining 50% would be held in stablecoins. This policy has been the means of protecting our Treasury against the volatile nature of cryptocurrency markets. The first purpose of this Community Proposal is to rebalance our Treasury balances as we have had to incur reasonable expenses to migrate to Polygon. The second purpose of this Proposal is to compensate our moderators for their 3 months of work. Finally, the third purpose of this Proposal is to establish new Safe Wallets with fewer, more active signers on both ETH and Polygon to receive royalties.
Community Fund [Assuming ETH prices at $1,750.00 (Given how volatile ETH has been, we will use $1,750 as we have been trading in the $1700 and $1800 region in the past month] 7.051892470069531509 ETH ~ $12,340.81 0.986184511994999995 WETH ~ $1,725.82 0.31325 Blur ETH ~ $548.18 18,896.07 BUSD ~ $18,896.07 Total ETH Value Assuming ETH prices at $1,750: $14,614.81 Total USD Value of Treasury Assuming ETH Prices at $1,750: $33,510.88
The purpose of this proposal is to meet 3 goals with our current budget.
A 50/50 split between ETH and USD is calculated by: $33,510.88 divided by 2 = ~ $16,755.44 required in USD and ~ $16,755.44 required in ETH value (these numbers are approximate and will be recalculated at the time of swap due to volatile market conditions.
To achieve 50/50 equilibrium between ETH and USD, the following is proposed: Multisig sends $2,140.63 BUSD and X amount of ETH, WETH and BLUR to Cat5 on the Nyolings wallet (0x545Ff430b6EAb009f28c8035d84414c0453628fC) * Cat5 to reimburse Masterblaster 181.50 BUSD for cost reimbursement * Cat5 to pay out Moderators for 3 months of work
At the end, this proposal will result in happy mods, a balanced budget and having 2 Safe multisig wallets to receive royalties from our ETH and Polygon collections. The reason for having 2 separate Safes is that they can only operate on 1 specific chain. Having a smaller board of signers will allow for streamlined operations and less time spent by Noice attempting to round up signers.
