Proposal for NYO merch in NyoStore for purchase with NyoCoin.

Summary:

With NYOcoin back in the community it’s important to have appropriate rewards/benefits to the accumulation of said coin.

The introduction of merch as an exchangeable option for NyoCoin will:

Drive awareness of our community - who doesn’t love sick merch?! Desire to participate in NyoCoin revenue generating events, and Retention of members - once you get your NyoHoodie, why would you EVER leave?

The merch will be of the highest quality and the community will be consulted as to what items we stock. Options include Hoodies, Bucket Hats, 5 and 6 panel caps, T-Shirts, Sneakers etc. Merch design will be based on community submitted ideas and feedback in our weekly Board Meetings.

The items can be limited editions or 1:1s depending on NyoCoin exchanged.

There is an option for the items to be ‘chipped’ allowing onchain verification, interactions and use as access to future NYO IRL meet-ups.

Budget and Timeline:

$2k USD for deposit and set up costs inc design, account set up, labour etc. $1k refunded after min order level reached, or credited against future merchandise

Merch redemption will be fulfilled on an ‘as ordered’ basis, so no further upfront costs are borne by the treasury and no stock is left lying unused.

Fulfillment, postage costs, customer care and problem solving will be taken care of externally by the provider.

The merch will be available for redemption as soon as the website is functional and members have earned the proper amount of NyoCoin! Initial redemptions will happen on discord.
