I am Ronald Nzioki, and I am incredibly excited to present a proposal on celoLocal @ETHSAFARI which is an event organized by the Celo Africa DAO and other valued ecosystem patners. This event is slated to take place on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023, from 6:00-9:00pm (EAT) at Ikigai in Nairobi, Kenya.

Purpose

The primary aim is to engage with the community by providing updates on the advancements within the Celo Ecosystem builders such as VCs, founders and general enthusiasts.

Target Audience

Our goal is to bring together a diverse audience of founders, developers, and other ecosystem contributors such as VCs.

Objectives

To have an overview of recent activities within the ecosystem. To facilitate a deeper understanding of our ecosystem partners and their valuable contributions.

Strategy

Commence with an Ice-breaking session An intro talk to celo and its ecosystem Brief introduction of ecosystem partners Panel Discussion of Scaling Web 3 in Africa

Budget

To ensure success of the event ,I request for a budget of 1040 cUSD where 400cUSD will cater for a security deposit fee, refundable in the event that no damages occur. For your reference ,I have provided a detailed breakdown of proposed budget below Event Security Deposit - $400 Evvent Venue and Food fee- $640
