Am David Lumala, a principal blockchain software architect and engineer at Mean.finance, Omniscia.io and Greenant.farm , an ardent Web 3.0 Developer advocate and instructor from Kampala, Uganda and am proposing a partnership on our second edition of the Blockchain DevFest. Just like what we did last year in the inaugural edition, we will add more content, panels, topics and dev sessions in this year's edition.

Themed "Citizens of the Future", Blockchain DevFest 2023 happening on Saturday 24th June 2023, aims to showcase some of the local projects and startups that have been built and formed in the past year as a sign of progress made since last year's edition. Among the new additions is the hackathon setting to enable more developers to compete and get onboarded to the world of Celo/Web 3.0 at large.

With over 300+ people in attendance, we expect to have a wide array of professionals which include but not limited to IT practitioners, Business personnel ,Entrepreneurs, students and enthusiasts. We are partnering with other firms both local and international that bear an interest in web 3.0 and blockchain technology at large. Having partnered with Celo last year on the same, we believe we can collaborate on this and many more events to come for the benefit and growth of the Celo ecosystem both regionally and internationally. As a sponsor, Celo is entitled to all the privileges afforded to the partner of the above stature including being marketed alongside all event advertisements, having advertisement material on the venue that day, running and setting up a booth on the venue to further meet, interact and engage attendees, delegating a speaker(s) to address the audience about the celo blockchain and ecosystem, a slot for its participation in the hackathon preparations and organization from their dedicated dev Rels and any other ideas as suggested by the ecosystem.
