Budget request to conduct a university event in Nairobi , Kenya

Greetings Celo Africa community, I am Ronald Nzioki, and I'm thrilled to propose a technical university meet-up that will take place on Friday, May 26th, 2023, from 11:00-1:30 PM (EAT) at the United States International University Africa. Last year, we successfully held an inaugural event that introduced students to the possibilities of the blockchain and the Celo ecosystem. Building on that success, we want to provide students with a deeper understanding of the Celo tech stack and tooling.

During the meet-up, students will have the chance to participate in a hands-on workshop where they can write their first smart contract. We believe this will be an excellent opportunity to expose students to decentralized computing concepts and ignite their interest in the Celo ecosystem.

To make this event a success, I am requesting a budget of 500 cUSD, which will cover the cost of food, swag, and photography. Our goal is to ensure that participants have a positive experience and a lasting impression of the Celo community.
