Greetings, I'm Adam Saheed, Celo Nigeria University Ambassador. On behalf of myself and my 2 other colleagues, named above, I'm proposing a Campus meet-up and a codejam at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife, Nigeria. To educate aspiring and experienced web3 developers about Celo Ecosystem, on 21st and 22nd of July 2023 within the university campus.

Objectives:

1. To educate the populace in the University about Celo Ecosystem and blockchain technology
2. Targeting 200+ students from the institution
3. To train both new and experienced Web3 developers on Web3 technology.
4. Onboarding talented developers from the institution to build on Celo and also introducing students to DeFi, ReFi as well as saving and staking on Celo Wallet and Valora Exchange
5. To create a forum for learning and collaboration among developers, entrepreneurs and others
6. To encourage the creation of projects that will have a positive impact on the Celo blockchain and advocating our brands such as ongoing projects, how to use the Valora App, and how to leverage on the opportun ities in Celo such as hackathon, Celo camp e.t c
7. To help guide them in downloading Valora wallet and making a live practice of deposits and withdrawals
8. To encourage the creation of projects that will have a positive impact on the Celo blockchain.

How:

Hosting the event on the proposed date Organizing the codejam the second day Speak about about Celo generally Taking attendance of the invites Drive the attendees to all our social media platforms to get more update Form a Developers Club within the campus Taking questions and answers from the attendees Feeling a google form from the event for reaching out and tracking
