Greetings Team,

I am writing to propose the 2nd edition of the 2023 CeloKenya Code Jam. We believe that this event will create a unique opportunity for developers, entrepreneurs, and enthusiasts in Kenya to explore the potential of blockchain technology, specifically focused on the Celo platform.

Objective: The primary objective of the CeloKenya Code Jam is to foster innovation, collaboration, and education around the Celo blockchain platform. Through this event, we aim to: Create awareness: Introduce Celo's unique features, capabilities, and use cases. Drive skill development: Provide hands-on learning opportunities for participants to deepen their understanding of blockchain development and Celo-specific tools and protocols. Encourage collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment where participants can form teams, share ideas, and build innovative solutions leveraging the Celo platform. Support entrepreneurship: Inspire participants to develop blockchain-based solutions addressing real-world challenges in Kenya, potentially leading to the creation of viable startups. Showcase talent: Offer a platform for participants to demonstrate their skills and gain recognition within the blockchain community.

Event Details: The CeloKenya Code Jam will be a one week event, scheduled to take place on 24th June, 2023 at Jenga Leo coworking. The event will feature a workshop, live coding session, teams working on solutions, networking sessions, and presentations of previously built projects by teams.
