Celo Uganda University Workshop

Introduction:This workshop will serve as an interactive and practical learning experience, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on exercises to equip participants with the necessary skills to explore the potential applications of the Celo blockchain technology in various domains.

Objectives for the Celo University Workshop

Introduce students to the fundamentals of Celo blockchain technology and its Unique features. Working closely with the Mbarara University community Developers club to onboard new Developers. To train students through hands-on exercises to build their first DApps on the Celo Blockchain. To guide and demonstrate to students the practical implementation of smart contracts on the Celo blockchain.

How Introduce Students to Celo Blockchain Guide them in setting up the Development Environment Hands on demo on building a DApp on the Celo Blockchain Getting attendees join the social channels

Success Metrics 80% of the target audience in attendance, ie software engineering and Computer Science students 30+ developers onboarded 40+ students joining the CeloAfrica DAO slack channel. Atleast 60 students attending the Workshop 30 users join our community Twitter
