This poll seeks to establish a 3-of-5 MultiSig Guardian for the Onyx protocol—a safeguard designed to protect our community from malicious governance proposals and potential Sybil attacks. The Guardian will serve as a protective layer for the protocol, empowered to intervene only in the rare cases where proposals pose a clear threat to the security, integrity, or continuity of Onyx. By requiring the consensus of 3 out of 5 trusted signers, this design ensures that no single actor holds unilateral power, while still enabling rapid, collective action when our protocol is at risk.
