Onyx Ambassador Vetting & Accountability Framework

This Poll seeks to determine whether the XCN community supports formalizing and maintaining a vetting and accountability framework for the Onyx Ambassador Program, applicable to both existing and future ambassadors.

As the Onyx ecosystem grows, ambassadors serve as public-facing representatives of the community. Their role includes educating participants on governance, sharing official information, explaining technical concepts, and facilitating constructive discussion. Given this visibility, it is important that all ambassadors operate under a clear and consistent communication standard designed to protect the credibility of the protocol and the broader ecosystem.

This poll affirms that the Ambassador Program will operate under a structured vetting and oversight framework that applies equally to current ambassadors and all future participants.

Ambassador Expectations

Ambassadors are expected to:

• Educate on how governance works • Share links to official proposals and verified resources • Explain technical concepts accurately • Engage and complete Zealy tasks supporting the community • Summarize publicly confirmed updates with citations

Ambassadors must not:

• Announce partnerships, listings, or roadmap items before official confirmation • Imply internal or privileged access to the team • Encourage token purchases or use promotional investment language • Provide investment advice • Make definitive legal or compliance claims • Engage in other behavior unbecoming of a community representative

When discussing protocol direction, token matters, or governance interpretation, ambassadors are encouraged to use simple clarifying language where appropriate, such as:

• “Speaking personally, not on behalf of the DAO.” • “This is my interpretation of the proposal—please read the original post.” • “Not financial advice. Do your own research.”

Ongoing Participation & Monitoring

Ambassador participation will not rely on rigid rubrics or fixed KPIs. Instead, eligibility and standing within the program will be monitored on an ongoing basis through:

• Zealy points and completed tasks • Submitted contributions • Public ambassador activity and engagement • Adherence to published communication standards • Feedback from the community

Continued participation in the program is conditional upon alignment with these expectations.

This poll does not appoint or remove any specific ambassadors. It affirms that all current and future ambassadors operate within a clearly defined framework designed to support:
