DAO Proposal: Introduction of New Staking Pools on ChainGPT Pad (14-days & 30-days)

Introduction:

We proposes the addition of two new staking pools on the ChainGPT Pad platform aimed at providing more accessible and flexible options for our community members and newcomers. These pools will offer shorter staking durations with lower multipliers compared to the longer-term options, allowing users to participate with less commitment while still benefiting from multipliers that encourage staking. The pools will have 0% APY, meaning there will be no immediate token rewards, but instead, users will earn staking multipliers tied to their participation.

Proposal:

We propose adding the following two new staking pools to ChainGPT Pad:

30-Day Staking Pool

• APY: 0%
• ChainGPT Pad Multiplier: 0.90x
• Duration: 30 days

• Note: 50% of the staking points will reflect on DegenPad

14-Day Staking Pool

• APY: 0%
• Multiplier: 0.45x
• Duration: 14 days

• Note: 50% of the staking points will reflect on DegenPad

Rationale:

1. Increased Accessibility: These pools provide additional opportunities for users who may not want to commit to longer durations. Newcomers, smaller holders, or those looking for flexibility will find these pools more accessible.
2. Lower Commitment Option: By offering shorter staking durations, we cater to those who want to experience staking without locking up their tokens for extended periods.
3. Maintaining Ecosystem Health: While these pools offer lower multipliers than longer-term pools, they still provide an incentive to stake thanks to access to our AI Tools & other ecosystem products like DAO, and launchpads, with no APY (0%).
4. Encouraging Community Participation: These pools offer a chance for community members to engage in the staking process with less risk and shorter commitment, while still being able to gain meaningful access to the ecosystem.

Impact Analysis:

• Liquidity & TVL (Total Value Locked): Introducing these shorter duration pools is expected to bring in a higher volume of stakers who prefer flexibility. This could increase the overall liquidity and TVL within the ChainGPT ecosystem, while still encouraging staking.
• Community Engagement: By providing additional options for the community, we aim to encourage broader participation. These pools can help onboard newcomers to the platform, who may find the longer-term options too restrictive or risky.
• Sustainability: While these pools will not generate immediate rewards through APY, they still encourage longer-term holding through multipliers, which can help reduce token sell pressure and contribute to the overall health of the ecosystem.

Voting Options:

• For = Yes, add these pools – Approve the addition of the 30-day and 14-day staking pools with 0% APY and the specified multipliers.
• Against = No, don’t add these pools – Reject the proposal to add the new staking pools.
• Abstain = I'm neutral, let others decide.
