Legal: Time and effort coordinating with Krystal-Noga Styron as Phunks community ambassador re: DMCA counter.
Tech: Assisted with implementing border removal for CryptoPhunksV2 collection, pinning to IPFS Setup of paid version Discord sales bots while twitter sales bot Twitter API was broken.
Social Media: Time hosting Phunks Town hall spaces https://phunks.gitbook.io/knowledge-base/social-media/media/phunky-spaces
I participated on the team representing the Phunks community who recovered the CryptoPhunksV2 smart contract, CryptoPhunks smart contract (Philips), 1000 dev phunks, and $1.44m in royalties from Zagabond. Ultimately establishing the CryptoPhunks treasury – A three day marathon of high stakes negotiation, stress, and sleep deprivation.
I single handedly reclaimed and currently maintain secure custody of the original @ CryptoPhunks twitter account.
Zagabond did not perform a secure handover of the @ CryptoPhunks twitter. He simply deleted the account and I had to respond quickly to recapture the @, preventing it from falling into the hands of bad actors.
I have recently taken custody of @ CryptoPhunksV2 twitter account, and paid the annual subscription for Twitter Blue.
I also manage the tweetdeck team of contributors for @ CryptoPhunksV2 twitter account which allows any community member to tweet from the official phunks account.
In 2022, Zagabond still owned the cryptophunks.com domain and let the website hosting expire—resulting in a blank webpage with a 404 error. Due to my earlier participation in recovering the Phunks smart contract, I was able to DM him and request that he transfer the domain.
Zagabond agreed to transfer to domain on the condition I would take a voice call with him. Reluctantly, I took the call in which he tried to gaslight me into believing he didn’t rug the Phunks before he ultimately surrendered https://cryptophunks.com/ to my custody.
Tbh, having to endure this conversation with Zagabond alone is worth $69k :madlad~1:
In summary, I have custody of @ CryptoPhunks, @ CryptoPhunksV2 twitter accounts, and https://cryptophunks.com/ domain.
I will keep and maintain custody of these accounts until the community should request I surrender them.
I pledge to abide by that request.
I am fully doxxed with people like @chopper and @Kiosko … probably others tbh.
Treasury Management: Time spent managing Treasury proposals on Discord servers. Time spent developing a path from Proposal to Treasury action. Time researching and implementing voting methods on snapshot.org. Time researching and implementing Gitcoin Passport.
When money fell from the sky and a Phunks treasury formed, I took initiative to create and present a proposal process to the community for spending Treasury funds.
I have created server channels, managed permissions to those channels, and developed a path from Proposal -> Treasury action.
This was not an easy process and I have taken alot of heat/criticism despite my efforts to act in a fair and equitable way—representing the CryptoPhunks ethos as best I can.
I have created/formatted every proposal request received from community members, setup server channels on both discords, formatted text, tagged @ everyone and associated roles, setup votes on snapshot.org, and created tweets to encourage Phunks community members to vote.
Now multiply these efforts by 2 Discord servers and the 33 proposals that existed before this one.
Recently, with help from @Kiosko and @chopper I developed updated procedures for executing an anonymous, token-gated, soft vote on Discord. I also researched and tested voting on snapshot.org w/ the implementation of Gitcoin Passport stamps and anonymous (shuttered) voting results until the voting period is complete. When it comes to actual treasury action. I am typically the one to create a transaction and rally the signers. Which, again, takes time and costs eth if I’m the one executing the transaction.
Whether i’m getting tagged on a discord server, or DM’d on twitter, I always respond and offer to assist with the onboarding/education/technology/history etc.
Bottom line: When shit is hittin’ the fan, and the Phunks need me,..I show up. Every day. Regardless of the outcome of this proposal, I have no intention to stop.
ii. I think the value added to the CryptoPhunks and community speaks for itself.
I care deeply for this community and am committed to representing it as best I can by championing the ethos of decentralization, censor resistance, permissionless protocols, equity, and fairness.
This proposal is compensation for my past efforts, listed above, in serving this community and promoting the ethos of Phunkism.
