tldr: Iris Rising adds value to the Seed Club Community by engaging as an independent super-contributor, working alongside core contributors to empower them and collaborators in a way that leads to daily impact and delivers immediate outcomes for SC cohorts and community.

Engagement Objectives

Objective: Increase strategic thinking at Seed Club and avoid decision-making fatigue Key Result: Jess & Nicole’s bandwidth is freed up by 5-15% Accountability: Weekly in writing to Jess & Nicole

Objective: Reduce repetitive operations work across Seed Club Teams Key Result: Deliver an operation rhythm for Seed Club including templates for leadership, and processes and accountability frameworks for working groups which can be shared with the community. Accountability: Operating Rhythm launched by 06/2022

Objective: Kick-start Continuity Working Group until the Cultivator position is fulfilled Key Result: Setup objectives tracking, assign areas of responsibility and define priorities Accountability: Cultivation lead position handed over by 07/2022

For the next 3 months both Kstone and Mog will make Seed Club their primary focus.

Deliverables Note: 40% of deliverables have been completed prior to requesting compensation.

Deliverable: People operations

  • Organization Structure development and refinement (completed) Org Structure Diagram
  • Proposal: Appointing Co-Creators and delegating areas of responsibility (draft) (SCIP - Establishing Nicole & Jess as Co-Creators)
  • Upskilling team stewards to be effective leaders in the community by empowering autonomy through mentorship (ongoing)
  • Topical support to working groups as requested - set Cultivation working group up for success and shepard handover process to incoming lead (in progress)

Deliverable: Budgeting Process

  • Defined a repeatable process to hold working groups accountable for their spending (completed) SCIP - Introduction of Budgets and Seasons
    • Addition of an accountant into SC to manage the budgeting process going forward (Seed Club Budgeting Exercise)
    • Introduction of Seasons into Seed Club’s workflow
  • Ensures resource allocation is aligned to value streams e.g. focus of Seed Club’s resources is going to the area that produces the highest value (in process)

Deliverable: Operation Rhythm

  • Define and implement an operating rhythm for Seed Club.
    • This includes: SC Direction Setting, Quarterly Team Objectives, Sprint planning, Mid-quarter review, end of quarter retrospective (in process)
    • Upskilling stewards to manage their working group operating rhythm (in process)
  • Reassign operation tasks depending on who is the correct owner
    • Operations tasks are being done across working groups and synergies are possible if these tasks are completed by a single person (in process)
    • Determine the current operation tasks being done across the team (in process)
    • Determine who is the best fit to complete this work on an ongoing basis (in process)

Team Members / Commitment

Mog (1) / Commitment: 50% of time for initial 3 month involvement (February - April), 100% time for following 3 months (May - July)

Kstone (2)/ Commitment: 30% of time for the inital 3-month engagement (February - April), 80% of time for following 3 months (May - July)

Terms

Compensation for these Iris Rising contributions will be in $CLUB tokens. A total of 7,500 $CLUB is being requested to cover the contribution period from February - July 2022, with 50% vesting/unlocking on 7/31/2022 and 50% vesting/unlocking on 2/28/2023

These terms will end Iris’s previous engagement (as of May 1, 2022) . We feel that as super-contributors we are able to be better aligned with a longer-term comp model solely in $CLUB tokens.

Iris Rising will utilize all tokens received to actively participate in Seed Club governance and commit to being a long-term supporter and contributor to the broader Seed Club ecosystem.

Accountability

Jess and Nicole will be Iris’s primary point of contact for this engagement. They will be responsible for holding Iris accountable to its deliverable and assessing the engagement’s success.
