SCP01 - Core Contributor Compensation Plan

Summary

Seed Club’s first proposal seeks to onboard and compensate a team of core contributors to deliver on the DAO’s strategy and objectives.

Motivation

The proposal aims to onboard full-time contributors to Seed Club to execute on projects designed to drive value to the DAO and grow its treasury. By compensating a team of core contributors, the DAO strives to accelerate Seed Club’s execution of social token related projects and initiatives.

Three roles have been defined

Instigator: Responsible for DAO vision, business development, media presence and partnerships. (This role was voted in previously.)

Facilitator: Responsible for DAO operations, collaborator communication, governance implementation, and studio client management.

Educator: Responsible for community management, educational content development, and accelerator programming.

Specification

This proposal seeks to accomplish three primary goals:

1. Reward core contributors with $CLUB for prior work and participation in the DAO.
2. Outline a USDC monthly payment schedule for full-time DAO contributors.
3. Outline a $CLUB monthly token allocation for full-time DAO contributors.

Below are the key terms of the proposal:

Retroactive Token Distribution

Instigator: N/A Facilitator: 10,000 $CLUB Educator: 10,000 $CLUB

Monthly USDC Compensation:

Instigator: $10,000 Facilitator: $8,000 Educator: $8,000

$CLUB Compensation:

Instigator: N/A (passed via previous proposal) Facilitator: 1% of $CLUB Supply vested over 4 years. Educator: 1% of $CLUB Supply vested over 4 years.

$CLUB compensation will not be subject to a cliff. USDC and $CLUB compensation is subject to change at the voting discretion of the DAO. Compensation will be effective July 1st, 2021.
