Following the June 21, 2023 Discord AMA where we discussed current plans, we are excited to announce that we have finalized arrangements to exhibit Banksy's iconic artwork, "Love is in the Air," in England. The artwork will be showcased at the National Horseracing Museum as part of the street art group show titled "The Urban Frame: Mutiny in Color." This exhibition will present Banksy's works alongside influential contemporary artists like Tracey Emin, Blak le Rat, Damien Hirst, Stik, and more, creating a compelling context that explores the impact of street art in our 21st-century artistic landscape.
Now, we turn to you, our community members, for your valuable input. We invite you to vote on whether you would like to see Banksy's "Love is in the Air" exhibited at the MOCO Museum in Barcelona and Amsterdam.
The MOCO Museum is an independent institution known for its inspiring collection of modern, contemporary, and street art. One of the highlights of MOCO Museum is its commitment to embracing innovation and digital art. It recently launched a dedicated NFT Room, exploring the rapidly-changing art space of NFTs and exhibiting examples from prolific artists such as Pak, Six N. Five, Beeple, JR, Andrés Reisinger, Refik Anadol, Pilar Zeta, Takashi Murakami, and more. The museum also holds a permanent collection of renowned artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Banksy, KAWS, Keith Haring, and more, championing visionary interpretations of our world. The LIITA, should it be loaned, will be exhibited among one of the 50 Banksy works they own across both locations in Amsterdam and Barcelona.
By exhibiting Banksy's "Love is in the Air" at MOCO Museum, we aim to unite the power of street art, digital innovation, and social commentary. The exhibition would provide a platform to spark conversations, provoke thought, and inspire change among a diverse audience of art enthusiasts and digital art supporters.
We propose showcasing "Love is in the Air" at MOCO Museum in Barcelona and Amsterdam for a period of six months in each location. Accompanying events, workshops, and talks will be organized to engage visitors and foster a deeper understanding of Banksy's work and its broader themes.
Through your vote, please let us know if your support exhibiting Banksy’s "Love is in the Air" at MOCO Museum following the street art group show at the National Horseracing Museum which closes on October 1st, 2023. This vote will remain open until June 30, 2023 midnight EDT.
