The first DAO Treasury Safe multisig was created in February 2021 to hold the initial NXM to fund DAO operations. While some signers have been replaced, the majority of our DAO signers have been serving for 5+ years. It’s time to relieve several long-standing signers and replace them with individuals from Nexus Mutual’s security team.
On behalf of the Nexus Mutual team, BraveNewDeFi is proposing members approve the replacement of the following signers:
In February 2021, Nexus Mutual members approved the creation of the Community Fund (a.k.a., the DAO Treasury). At that time, members also voted on the group of individuals that would be responsible for reviewing, approving, and signing Safe transactions on the DAO Treasury multisig. The current signers are volunteers who serve as a benefit to Nexus Mutual members. Given these individuals have been acting as signers for more than 5 years, we believe it’s time to update the list of signers on the DAO Treasury multisigs and include more members from the Nexus Mutual security team and Advisory Board.
We want to relieve the existing signers noted above and replace them with the following individuals:
If members support and approve this proposal, an onchain transaction will be created to replace DeFi Dad, Gauthier, Richard Chen, and Adam Benayoun with Hugh Karp, Rei Melbardis, Ricky Tan, and Shark0der on the following Safe multisigs:
