Pursuant to the unanimously passed SLURP-12 | Community Council Seats, and pursuant to SLURP-23 | Network Aligned Individual Liaisons [NAILs] Expansion Framework and the Continued Decentralization of stake.link, we're proud to present the candidates in the running to serve the remaining half of Epoch 2.
The candidates for this election cycle are being sourced from the #epoch-2-council-nominations channel on the [stake.link Discord! ]:
Voting Process
You will be able to vote for multiple candidates with any amount of your voting power that you desire. You will need to know how much voting power total you have, as SnapShot doesn’t do a super job of indicating this. It can be helpful to identify your voting power using read only mode if you don’t want to connect your wallet to check on the stake.link UI. Note also that unstaked/unlocked SDL and SDL in your SushiSwap LP position confers voting power, but at a 1:1 rate with reSDL (meaning 1 unlocked SDL confers 1 SDL worth of voting power, while 1 SDL locked for 4 years confers 9 SDL worth of voting power).

In order to backfill Tokenized's vacancy, we will begin today a 7 day nomination process to establish what candidates will be up for vote to serve the remaining half of Epoch 2.
Everyone will need to formally nominate themselves for consideration in the Epoch-2-Council-Nominations channel in Discord by next Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 5:59pm ET / 11:59 pm CET. I self nominate myself, As many of you know me and have been very vocal since day 1 of SDL, and an investor even before that in Chainlink and other accessories that existed.
-I am not going to pander to votes or pander anything. I'm not giving away stipend to bribe votes. (although VIP pass giveaways will most likely exist to some extent) I am would like to be the voice of the community for better or worse. AS A WHOLE the community will get a voice through me with no fear of asking anything or speaking up.
I have no been very vocal on the forums (although many of you know me to be very vocal on telegram) but as a community rep would fulfill the role without fail on the forums and with voting.
I have been around the space since 2017 pre-defi days and have lived to see ethlend become AAVE, uniswap airdrop days, BSC food farming, Arbitrum airdrop, etc etc etc without skipping a beat. I have seen protocols rise and fall, even losing money with the best of them. It is my goal to ensure the community has a voice to ensure SDL becomes the premier liquid staking solution and to see this though even beyond.

Dear stake.link DAO,
Don't want to repeat what I said above concerning my last self-nomination. Thus, just two additions to two of the above stated points:
Push the community against other stakeholder interests: I want to engage the NOPs more directly and ensure their interest are aligned. I am very curious to learn more about their operation and what kind of problems they are facing and how to solve them. I hope to get them more involved with the Governance process.
Raise external awareness: With consent of the core contributor i would like to setup a LinkedIn Page for stake.link as well as use the role as official DAO Council to engage in more Business Development like discussions with asset managers and the blockchain ecosystem currently unaware of stake.link. I believe there is a huge opportunity to fill the PP by both getting "blockchain active" players to deposit as well as help "blockchain inactive" players to gain exposure.
Happy to answer any questions.
Best regards, J / Asymmetric
Small Addition: I am currently on paid leave in my current occupation and will transition fulltime to the Blockchain space. Thus, have a lot of "free" time coming three months.

Hi all,
I've been involved with Chainlink since 2017 and LinkPool since 2018 as part of the ICO. From the start, the value-add of a third-party staking infrastructure has been apparent and the more recent evolution towards a liquid staking token (LST) has been exciting to see.
It's been great to see how stake.link has progressed, improving the tokenomics through SLURP-8, adding new features and the recent work with Metis. I look forward to seeing stake.link continuing to fulfil its potential and in providing a constructive voice in the community.
I recently authored SLURP-22 that increased the Community Pool delegation fee from 5% to 10% and which will provide higher rewards for reSDL stakers. I specifically sought out node operator input on this proposal and would make such engagement a focus if elected.
I have also provided input on many SLURPs including:
SLURP-3: Suggested a change to allow LPL holders who had not initially migrated to be able to claim their SDL airdrop in full SLURP-5: One of several members who pushed back on these tokenomics changes that led to the improved SLURP-8 SLURP-10: Suggested changes to the airdrops including an increased allocation for reSDL stakers and a distribution through VRF to help drive smaller deposits SLURP-12: Suggested a change to have a fallback community vote on a SLURP in the event that both Community Council members did not vote
Outside of this, I have taken part in a couple of Chainlink hackathons and am currently working on a project that uses Chainlink.
Taken together, this gives me both the background and capacity to act as an effective stake.link Community Council member. I will seek the community's views on proposals and issues and will be available to discuss as needed.
Best of luck to all and congrats to Tokenized on his new role.
