Epoch 5 Details
What is the stakedotlink council? The Governance Council is the elected representative body that oversees the protocol and is responsible for ratifying proposals on behalf of the DAO. It is comprised of seven members:
2 Core Contributors
1 NAIL (Network Aligned Individual Liaison)
2 Community Members
2 SDL Node Operators
How are community members elected to the Council? The two community seats on the council are elected directly by the community. Any reSDL holder can vote for the candidates of their choice. Elections are held on a 6-month cycle, which is defined as an "epoch."
Role Specifications Six month epochs A week self nomination window Self nomination via epoch-5-council-nominations(this channel) Must submit reasoning for running / qualifications, public wallet (for stipend), and social channel ID’s One week election window Vote on https://snapshot.org/#/s:community.stakedotlink.eth Votes will be based on reSDL held in wallet at time of snapshot
The only strict requirement for this position is to vote on all SLURPS posted on Snapshot during epoch.
Desired behaviors: In addition to voting requirements, it is desired that the Community Seat is actively engaged with the community on the stake.link social channels throughout their duration on the stake.link council. Community Seats are allowed to author, and vote on, their own SLURPs.
Stipend: Community Seats should be compensated with “skin in the game” in order to incentivize active participation. $1,000 of SDL tokens will be paid out to Community Seats for each month served and paid in total at the end of the epoch. (USD value, quoted by the close price of SDL on CoinGecko on the first day of each month). Payments will be prorated in cases of removal or resignation.
Epoch 5 Nomiations: 1. Michael "self nominate. I am a current representative of the community . I would love to continue being the voice of the community. I haven’t missed any votes from the council (typically voting same day once the consensus of the community has been reached) and have set up a snapshot system to gauge the communities opinion before the council votes to ensure the representation is accurate. I love Sdl and stLINK. I have been trying to post more SLURPs this go around and getting the community engaged on the forum and in telegram. Regardless of my seat I will be remaining in the community for the foreseeable future. Ask me anything in telegram or discord and ill be glad to answer.

Big thanks to Michael for helping me out too on telegram.
3.Ari GM dear DAO,
I’d like to once again put forward Ari for a community council seat in Epoch 5.
As stake.link continues to grow, from new LSTs to deeper integrations and sharper community coordination, it genuinely feels like the wind is finally blowing in our favour. The conversations are richer, the proposals more thoughtful, and the sense of shared purpose stronger than ever. This next epoch is going to matter maybe more than any before.
For those who don’t know the story.. Ari only nominated himself in epoch 1 at the very last minute. Not because he thought he would win, quite the opposite. He doubted he’d get in at all.. but he submitted anyway because he genuinely felt he could contribute something meaningful to the DAO. 5 epochs later, he’s still here, still focused, still believing in what we’re building.
That’s really the point of this post
If you’re reading this and wondering whether you should nominate yourself, please do. The DAO grows stronger every time someone new steps forward. You don’t need to be perfect, you don’t need a long CV and you don’t need to know everything today. What matters is intention, curiosity and a willingness to show up for the community.
As for Ari, he remains committed to helping the DAO move forward, whether through council work or simply as a dedicated member. He’ll keep pushing for clarity, accessibility and the best outcome for all stakers.. because he genuinely believes that the future of this ecosystem is brighter than ever.
If you’ve been thinking about running, now is the time. You never know what role you might end up playing until you try.
We’re all in this together

4.eRaZz Hi everyone I got involed in Stake.link a year ago. Some of you might have discussied with me. I'm quite active on the forum/discord and also the telegram channel. I've been following Chainlink since the ico and got into the rabbit hole of LST. I have a background in finance and economics and could offer another point of view in regards of tokenomics and market dynamics. @erazz101.eth on twitter and @eRaZz on discord. However this vote goes through i'll still keep heavily invested in stake.link
