Concentrator Community Booster Rewards Vote (Tranche 2): veCTR

Background

As announced to the community, 3% of the total CTR tokens will be distributed to members of the community who have helped to support Concentrator and the IFO through communication, education, and content creation. These tokens will be distributed entirely based on a community vote of veCTR token holders (and xALD token holders directling Aladdin’s treasury share of veCTR). An informal community poll showed support for distributing the booster rewards in tranches, rather than simply all at the end, so this vote is to distribute the second tranche of CTR reward tokens, equal to ⅓ of the total allotment (50,000 CTR). Nominees are listed below along with a very brief description.

Every nominee is, in his or her own way, an excellent choice to allocate CTR rewards to! And you may split your voting power between as many nominees as you like. Remember that helping to reward and economically align the best content creators, influencers, and researchers with Concentrator is good for them, and good for the protocol in the long term.

Details

Since AladdinDAO has a large allocation of locked CTR tokens there will be two snapshot votes: one for direct holders of veCTR and one for xALD holders. veCTR will vote directly, while xALD votes will be used to direct ⅔ of AladdinDAO’s share of veCTR (the rest will abstain for this vote). Be sure to double check you are voting on the correct Snapshot proposal, and if you hold both xALD and veCTR you must vote on both.

Unvested xALD tokens are eligible to vote.
