New CONKlave members?

Dear fellow CONKes,

I am writing to propose my perspective on the current situation concerning CONK and the CONKlave, the selected individuals mostly responsible for facilitating the management of the community-owned funds of CONKers, the CONK meme token's community members.

Firstly, I want to extend my deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to the current CONKlave member for their unwavering dedication and remarkable contributions. It is through their tireless efforts that we have achieved significant milestones, established valuable connections, and fostered a robust network that has been instrumental in the success of CONK. Their commitment has played a pivotal role in ensuring the survival and growth of our community.

However, it has come to my attention that there is a prevailing sentiment among CONKers regarding the current CONKlave members’ decision. While I have not personally received direct feedback, public chats indicate a desire for a change. To address this concern and ensure community involvement, I propose offering a community vote on the removal of the current members via this Snapshot Vote. Additionally, based on my observations of the aforementioned public discussions, I recommend including interested candidates who have expressed their desire to join the CONKlave in the new composition.

Two notable candidates are Philcrypto (https://twitter.com/nft_withcause) and Wrxcryptominer (https://twitter.com/wrxcryptominer).

Furthermore, it is important to note that ideally, the CONKlave should consist of seven members. The final selection of members can be determined after the new CONKlave is formed. The new CONKlave will be responsible for managing two multisig wallets, namely:

1. CONK Treasury Multisig (address: https://ftmscan.com/address/0x405d0777659549d78428ff1fd73cd16b25d9463a); and
2. CONK DeFi Multisig (address: https://ftmscan.com/address/0x9b2a62371c530fd357b9d59dec1622599a4a1bbb).

These two multisig wallets play a crucial role in safeguarding and managing the community funds.

By incorporating the voice of the community, considering new members for the CONKlave, and ensuring responsible management of the multisig wallets, we can enhance transparency, accountability, and community participation in the governance of CONK. This approach aligns with the decentralized principles of the CONKers community and ensures their active involvement in shaping the governance structure.

Thank you for considering this proposal. I believe that by acknowledging the sentiments expressed in public chats, providing an opportunity for new members to join the CONKlave, and outlining the responsibilities of the new CONKlave, we can foster a stronger and more representative governance structure that will contribute to the continued growth and success of the CONK community.

Despite this sentiment, I, once again, want to emphasize that the contributions of the current CONKlave members are greatly appreciated. Their dedication and hard work have been invaluable in shaping the progress of CONK. I extend my sincere gratitude to them for their unwavering commitment to the community.
