Stargate Finance Integration for Cross-Chain $COOKIE Bridging

This proposal seeks community approval to integrate $COOKIE token with Stargate Finance to enable seamless cross-chain bridging directly through their platform. This integration will enhance $COOKIE's accessibility across multiple blockchain networks and improve user experience for cross-chain operations within the Cookie DAO ecosystem.

The integration requires a minor modification to the $COOKIE token contract to implement enforced options on all pathways for COOKIE OFT (Omnichain Fungible Token), ensuring secure and standardized cross-chain transfers.

BACKGROUND

Stargate Finance is a leading cross-chain bridge protocol that enables instant guaranteed finality transfers across multiple blockchain networks. Integration with Stargate would provide $COOKIE holders with:

• Direct access to cross-chain bridging without third-party interfaces
• Enhanced liquidity across supported networks
• Improved user experience for Multi-Airdrop Farming participants operating on different chains
• Stronger positioning within the broader DeFi ecosystem

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

To facilitate this integration, the following technical implementation is required:

Contract Modification: Minor update to the $COOKIE token contract to implement enforced options on all pathways for COOKIE OFT functionality. This modification will:

• Ensure standardized cross-chain transfer protocols
• Maintain security standards across all bridge pathways
• Enable compatibility with Stargate's infrastructure requirements
• Preserve existing token functionality and holder rights

VOTING PROCESS

Per the Cookie DAO Constitution, all $COOKIE stakers have the right to vote on this Proposal by casting one of the following votes:

a. For - Support the Stargate Finance integration and authorize the required contract modifications and Treasury allocation

b. Against - Oppose the integration and maintain current cross-chain bridging arrangements

c. Abstain - Neither support nor reject the Proposal

The option that receives the most votes (50% + 1) will be implemented according to Constitutional requirements for minor changes not otherwise listed.
